Caribbean Tan Tanning Mousse

I have worked my way through loads of the Caribbean tan products but I actually never tried the bronzing mousse, for some reason I thought it wouldn’t work as well. Well I was wrong and gosh was I surprised at how amazing the mousse actually is! It has quickly jumped to the top of my favorite tanning products list.

I use shade B but shade A is also great for just having an every day tanned look. This product doesn’t need that much explaining, it is super simple to use and you cant go wrong. All you have to do is make sure that your skin is clean and nicely exfoliated before hand and then just pump out the foam and rub it all over your body! This lovely light foam soaks into skin super quick and is non sticky so you don’t sit with that sticky self tan feeling for hours after applying. It is gradual color so your color will develop over a few hours. If you are using your hands then just remember to was your hands properly and maybe twice lol to just make sure you get it off your hands and do not end up with stained hands. To be safe you can use one of the Caribbean tan tanning gloves. I like to apply in the evenings and then the next morning I am all tanned and can have a shower. 

I have also learnt that since I am now pregnant that it is more recommended that I use the mousse instead of the spritzer or aerosol cans, lucky for us pregnant ladies the mousse actually turned out to be more convent in the end so I am happy about that. Caribbean Tan – Tanning Spritzer Review

We are getting to that end bit of winter where you can see the sun is trying its hardest to make an appearance. This already makes me feel much better as I am not a winter person and I am so longing for the days the sun will be out in full force again and I can get that summer glow I have been dreaming about…. Well luckily for me I have a whole bunch of Caribbean Tan products to save my pale skin and help me look like a glowing goddess all year round!

I have used Caribbean Tan for years but like most people I know I stick to the products that I normally buy, in my case that’s the Tan in a Can Instant Color. It wasn’t until I was lucky enough to get sent the whole range from Caribbean Tan that I got to trying the other products in the line. To achieve a natural looking healthy summer glow with a self tan product, it is important to prepare skin by exfoliating and shaving before hand. I have fallen in love with the Caribbean Tan Cinnamon and coconut body scrub 🙂 It is amazing to die for fantastic. I have already finished the whole tub and I need to go buy some more now!

So yesterday I felt a bit pale and was missing the sun, my morning jog turned out nice cause the sun was out a bit and for the first time in a long time I felt like summer is starting to creep closer. This inspired me to get my Tan on hehe , so i grabbed a bottle of Caribbean Tan and basically attacked my skin with it 😉 I am now less pale and looking much much better than before.

I used the Caribbean Tan Tanning spritzer this time, I am used to the Tan in a Can instant Color which sprays out more of a mist so using the Spritzer was a bit different to what I am used to and i made sure i used the tanning mitt to rub the product on evenly so I don’t end up with a dark line or one body part that is darker than the other. The Tanning Spritzer sprays out bigger drops and because its an instant color one you can see where on your skin the product has landed and you can see how it is blending in as you rub it in and spread it around.

The result I got was at first different than I am used to, It wasn’t as dark of an instant color as the other Tan in a Can instant color one was but it looked good and the next morning it looked even better and is now fantastic 🙂 The Results are great, a even perfectly bronzed color and I already feel much better! I applied some to my face and I look like I have more of a glow now and it is just what I needed to uplift my mood a bit! A thing to keep in mind if you are going to be doing your face a bit is that it may effect your skin tone for the foundation and base u are using.

Maintaining the perfect self tan look is easy as long as you are remembering to moisturize and try showering instead of bathing because long periods of time in water cause the tan to wash off faster. Also some light Exfoliation keeps it looking even and perfect and then you can just touch up your tan with a spritz here and there if you see you need some more color.

Caribbean Tan – Best way to stay Tanned all year round!

Iv always loved Caribbean Tan! i have used the products for years now and trust them to always deliver a perfect easy Tan. This is why i was so thrilled to get this fantastic press drop from Caribbean Tan SA. So many fantastic products to try out and the best way to stay tanned through winter and safely in summer!

Iv Tested a Few of these lovely products now, i normally buy the Tan in the Can Instant color so im gonna be looking at that one quick today cause im very familiar with it and how to use it. I know what people think when they think self tan at home, they think big ass disaster turn out looking like the orange oros man! ok well forget that idea and clear your head of previous bad tan experiences cause this is DEFINITELY not a problem you are going to be having with Caribbean Tan.  So Here is My step by Step how to Get a Tan using the Tan in a Can instant color 🙂

1. Grab your Caribbean Tan Cinnamon and Coconut Body scrub and have a lekker shower! Scrub from head to to toe with this yummy body scrub, its one of my favorite products from the range! love it so much. Remember to shave your legs as well
2. Make sure your skin is clean and you have washed off all the residue from the scrub and are completely dry. i like to wait 30min after showering and shaving to let skin settle before applying the tanning product.
3. Get your bottle of Tan in a Can instant color , i use it in shade B. And grab your Tanning mitt. If you dont have a tanning mitt then its really not the end of the world, just apply loads of hand cream before rubbing on the products so that it doesn’t soak too much into hands and remember to wash hands properly afterwards.
4. Get Tanning! This is so easy i do it myself all the time, The Tan in a Can sprays out in a fine mist and with the instant color you can see immediately where it is, i start at my feet and do my legs and then rub with the tanning mitt to spread it all around evenly. spray sparingly on the ankle and knee area cause those areas tend to be darker. Do this to your entire body or if so desire just the areas you wanna cover. For face i normally just spray a bit in my hands and rub on like i would a face cream so its not too dark.
5. After tanning give about 5 min before getting dressed and then wear something loose and preferably nothing white cause it can rub off sometimes, or tho it does not stain clothes so no stressing 🙂 Try not to shower or bath for at least 8 hours after tanning to allow the product to settle on skin and for a longer lasting tan.
6. Keeping skin moisturized daily with the Caribbean tan body butter will help keep your tan looking great and prolong it, you can also use the fabulous Caribbean tan Shimmer lotion to give your skin an extra glow and moisture prolong tan results.

Here is a little before and after pic, or at least i tanned my right leg and not the left so you can see the difference form the Tan in a Can instant color! Such an amazing products, delivers a fantastic bronzed color and its so Easy. This one is great for touching up legs quick if you decide to wear a dress out , its so quick to do!
